This Simple but Brilliant Morning Hack for Increased Productivity

For most of us mornings look like this: You make a coffee, go to your computer, check your calendar and ask yourself:

What should I do next?

❓ Let’s be honest, how much time do you spend in the morning, checking your e-mails, your phone and chit-chat before you actually start working? Would’t it be easier, if you would start your day already having a structure and a plan for action?

As a life coach, I often have clients who struggle with their time-management skills. They would like to be more productive throughout the day and make the most out of their time.

👉 There is one simple technique that you could use to maximise your morning: Plan your day a head the evening before!

Be honest - are you getting that much deep work done by the end of the day? If not, you might as well use the couple minutes before finishing your day for other tasks, like planning your day or even week ahead. As one of my favourite authors Robin Sharma always says:

The things that get scheduled, are the things that get done!

As an added hint, when you plan your day ahead, dedicate your morning hours to the one most significant activity / task on your agenda. The one, when completed, that will have the biggest impact for your productivity and development. Doing real work versus artificial work daily will give an outstanding competitive advantage in your professional field!
